The reason I find networking critically important is simple. Referrals make the best business contacts. Freelancers get a lot of business through word-of-mouth. Internships are often contingent on a common point of contact. Hiring for a senior management position is almost completely dependent on networking. The WebXpo Event in Sofia

Yesterday I attended the WebXpo event in Sofia, managed by Web & Events. There were plenty of different topics to be discussed on website development, design, usability and so on. It was a great pleasure listening to the discussion of the website price. Being based in Sofia, attending WordCamp Belgrade last year was pretty much a no-brainer. Luckily, the incredible organizing team in Serbia is organizing another event happening this weekend, or in other words: enter WordCamp Belgrade 2016!
