The steep job market isn’t going to improve unless operational efficiency is adopted internally.
The harsh truth is:
1. Robots may halucinate and make mistakes. But people aren’t flawless at all.
2. Agents work 24/7. People don’t.
3. Agents don’t cause toxic company culture.
4. LLMs won’t track down “other career aspirations”.
5. Assisted agents won’t leak data to 3rd parties you don’t want to (except the overlords that built them).
Unless humans own that gap and truly excel at orchestrating and managing agents and LLM tools at scale, this trend will continue. In 5 years from now, 80%+ of the workforce will be heavily equipped predominantly with agentic tools, delivering 5X+ of the value compared to 2020-2022.
