Working with PE partners and operators, I’m asked about anything from operations to GTM to delivery to the state of vibe coding to the job market, depending on what the fund or the port co looks into right now.
I stay dangerously close to the ground in order to stay up to date in this dynamic landscape.
This week alone:
✔️ Onboarding a new delivery manager in my room
✔️ Coordinating 2 massive mid-market launches on Wed and Thu (both successful, very proud of the team)
✔️ A conversation seeking a way out
✔️ 4 interviews after, one offer extended (starting Jul 1st)
✔️ Investing in a core fintech secondary
✔️ Over 15 in-house sprint sessions launching new features, data reports, triaging on discrepancies and feature requests
✔️ Coordinating new offers and landing pages
✔️ Screening 70+ applications from the week
✔️ Strategy brainstorming on packaging value creation solutions
✔️ Two AI agent meetings iterating on our internal tooling and automations with engineering
✔️ Two offers reviewed and signed off for contracts (a major international publisher pre-elections and a robotics startup with solid funding)
✔️ Several GTM conversations on the go
✔️ An industry event, in-house working with peers directly
✔️ On-site ops discussions going over blockers, challenges, and sprint initiatives
✔️ Reviewing paid campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, Google, and calibrating strategy + performance reporting
When I discuss operations, delivery, hiring, sales, market trends, the state of GTM, AI augmentation, product or marketing, these are anything BUT theoretical conversations.
It’s meetings I’m looped into, decisions I have to take, making compromises, ruffling feathers, seeking partners, vendors, tools, solutions to help and offload, running pilots at DevriX and Growth Shuttle, and deploying actual builds for our retainer customers.
These are the conversations I participate in, working with fractionals and operators, reviewing quarterly investor memos, during advisory calls and strategy sessions.
Here’s today’s read on the state of PE.
