The B2B ecosystem media hat was formally founded just 3 months ago, with several projects starting earlier in 2024 (and a couple of satellite sites available prior to that).
70% of these properties did not exist in Q3 🚀
While scaling different digital products in this org, I keep an eye on different trends and opportunities every week (through scorecards and dashboards like this):
– Ups and downs on CPCs for traffic and subscriber acquisition
– Red ocean vs. Blue ocean for sponsorship or simply attention opportunities
– Seasonal trends of “buying the dip” – Q1 is wildly successful because e-commerce is fully frozen and all political campaigns are done
– SEO trends and algo updates
– Chatbots referencing and sourcing different data pieces
It also allows for cross-platform experiments (considering my 60,000 combined followers, 10K email subscribers, 11.5K YouTube subs, a couple other newsletters).
All platforms are growing steadily through content, links, and mentions. And referencing each other as a proper media group.
📗I’ll be running two cross-platform experiments soon as ATTENTION BLASTS. Our previous attempts in getting sponsored listings in Clutch or G2 or similar directories (many at a time) + sponsored podcasts/newsletters has a massive effect for B2C campaigns and certain brands, though it’s expensive to execute.
So I’m working on $10K to $30K packages now for these blasts as a test pilot on feeding aggregators and scrapers through brand amplification (and therefore, coming up in the new types of search out there).
This would include different combinations – from featured/sponsored listings in directories through interviews and PR stories in sites, to opportunities for the podcast or newsletter placements.
