Social networks grow due to an increasing volume of users, following a tiny percentage of active creators. 📈
Creators can only thrive with adequate tooling:
✔ Seamless user experience
✔ Timely notifications and pings (desktop and mobile)
✔ Sifting through a large volume of updates (comments, pings, mentions)
✔ Diverse creator experience (video, live, decks, media)
For instance – Meta’s notifications are practically real-time while LinkedIn is dragging behind.
But sifting through Facebook notifications is a grind… One of the core reasons I abandoned the platform years ago, was somewhere between group invites, online games, likes and mentions, group discussions, events, ad notifications, and page updates in one core panel.
Instagram is real-time and “slides” resemble LinkedIn’s documents – but better tooling with unlimited pages and different content formats (docx/PDF) make LinkedIn superior. 🏆
LinkedIn has been hard to sift through – and I’ve missed notifications on older posts (especially those published a week ago or even last month).
We’re now able to filter out anything but comments, keep an eye on mentions in different posts, and make sure we engage back timely and promptly.
Really excited about improved tooling for active creators with large audiences.
