As we go through one of the largest transformation in the 15 years of DevriX history, we’re bound to eat our own dog food, and rebuild a lot of the underlying measurement systems.
This journey is practically crunching a year of hard work into a 3-month delivery sprint with incremental improvements after. Extremely hardcore, and 100% worth it.
And while valid subjective criteria will always come into play, KPIs and scorecards matter a ton. Unless your underlying systems source the right data and report the proper incoming parameters, you’re doomed.
Some roles in some companies are easy to reference than others.
Outbound sales reps and # of dials/pick ups/close rate.
Or hosting/call center support staff with tickets and NPS measured in each interaction.
Most other industries are going blindfolded into roadmap planning, having set up CRMs with inaccurate lead enrichment or targeting, and receiving false signals through the website or acquired lists and phone numbers.
Just the tip of the iceberg when you look under the hood.
This lesson is about data:
Better to lack data insights than rely on outdated or flawed sources.
And leading enterprises invest a fortune in constantly refining their data pools for maximum efficiency.
