B2B startups are not optimized for sales. ❌

I’m not referring to landing pages, funnels, or the onboarding process.

Most offers simply suck. ⬇️

I’ve been guilty myself more times than I care to admit.

Swallowed in a rapid growth funnel of a steady pipeline and strong partnerships or referral deals that keep pumping warm leads and converting into recurring customers.

👎 When stacked against competitors, we’ve lost to:

– Weaker brands
– Less qualified teams
– Unimpressive portfolios
– Fewer references

The stronger the value proposition, the more likely to sell. Think big.

Massive revenue boosts, automation opportunities, saving time, costs, money, generating leads on autopilot.

✅ 2. Near 100% “Perceived likelihood of achievement”.

Getting an Ivy League diploma won’t get you an executive Forbes 500 job. It may help – along with 100 other factors – but it’s not a “zero to hero” guaranteed story.

✅ 3. Short “Time delay”.

How long does it take to reach the goal?

Think of Amazon’s same-day delivery, 48 hours to get a design completed, or 30 days to get your abs visible guaranteed.

✅ 4. Minimum “Effort & sacrifice”.

Hard work is not compelling.

Taking weekends and nights to study for months to achieve the “dream outcome” will always face shortcuts. What’s the path to least resistance possible to get there?

B2Bs try to overcome that with lead magnets, free trials, demo calls.

But trials take forever to set up, require team onboarding, eat up time, risk conflicts within the organization, will piss the CFO off if this doesn’t work.
