Connect Your Life to Me: Meta’s Muse Connectors and the Rise of the MCP Marketplace

Zuckerberg invited developers to start developing Muse connectors today.

1. Muse is Meta’s new OpenClaw type of assistant

2. We see the explosion of “connect your life to me” buildouts including in Slack and HubSpot, and Asana, and Grok, and of course Hermes and the standard agents.

3. Unlike “AI on top of SaaS”, these agents invite you ro plug your email, calendar, and drive. Some connect your social accounts, credit cards, phone numbers, Shopify dashboards – the full castle.

4. Muse connectors = Shopify or Android apps, and another step toward MCP marketplaces becoming the new app stores.

5. Connector development is heavily vibe-assisted, with reading through API endpoints and building most of the work automatically (as advertised).

As APIs were the norm for over a decade (after SOAP and other early predecessors), MCPs were next, and connectors are now.

If the trend continues, every bank should have connects for agents. Every telecom. In 7 years – governments (and in 3 years, unofficial scrapers)

How agentic browsing develops is now a function of capital and distribution over the next 18 months. Strong resistance or regulations can cool this off. Active adoption will make this the norm in the future.

It’s all about critical mass becoming a marketplace of the future or not. Zuckerberg has proven to do this with more than one social network and understands engagement algorithms better than almost everyone.
