Balancing Growth and Responsibility: Why Sustainability Must Be in Every Strategy

Complete de-industrialization is moslty impossible (and outright foolish), but we don’t have to be reckless.

We’re continuously growing our Digital Sustainability portfolio across different organizations, from publishing (high traffic) through physical recycling (perfect fit) to logistics and global imports of product (where high carbon emissions are top of mind).

As I’m browsing the National History Museum in London with family today, this is another strong reminder of how we came to be, and opportunities we’re scaling today – including electric vehicles, carbon neutral data centres and hosting companies, active recycling, and many many more.

Again – progress isn’t going anywhere, and that’s great.

But unless we want to keep facing floods and earthquakes and massive heat waves, building long-term strategy should keep a selection of environment-friendly initiatives that don’t get in the way AND ensure the planet would be here to stay in the process.
