AI-Native Velocity: Why Output Gaps Between Talent Are Expanding by 100x in Modern Workflows

Extended an offer this Thursday evening after a trial, confirming the trend reported by Business Insider this week.

In the AI era, velocity is everything. And the difference in old-school large corporate output vs. tier A startup is 100x to 500x today.

If you’re paying $100K for a role, a simple job could take 2 minutes or 2 weeks. This isn’t hypothetical, nor an edge-case scenario.

I’ve seen this time and again.

If you’ve worked with virtual assistants or offshore freelancers, you may have seen this over the past decade, too.

The same goes with data entry or support jobs. Even pre-AI, the difference was drastic.

Pretty obvious for entry-level/junior vs. 20+ senior niche roles.

But an AI-native junior with a year or two today can outdeliver 50 times a senior manual expert with 10 years on the job in a slowly going, corporate, non-digital ecosystem.

P.S. In-office trials can even take a day or two vs. a full week. An hour or two won’t suffice, but taking a full day on deep dives, iterations, trial and error, and team brainstorming, with actual deliverables, is a pretty clear yes or no for both parties.
