I’ve had over a hundred conversations this year on AI applications and AI Ops, the most annoying part being: it’s almost impossible to find GDP growth applications in the majority of the cases.
Sure, if you’re Anthropic or a data center for hosting Nvidia chips, it works.
If you’re Coca-Cola or McDonald’s and you already have loyal fans, your AI clips are entertaining, and your soda and burgers are selling anyway.
If you’re Tom Holland or Ryan Gosling, people are craving more memes and AI avatars – even the new GTA, which is unreleased, already has an unofficial AI mode for playing Spider-Man within Grand Theft Auto? This is absurd.
So, AI is solving for entertainment, and optimizing internal processes, and eliminating mundane work.
Meanwhile, RevOps professionals are internally trying to figure out how to generate demand while organic is down, social is swamped, outbound is cluttered with outreach, calls are robotic, salespeople don’t need to enrich, but now can’t get new business.
Welcome to 2026 in a nutshell.
